While the economy may not be conducive to starting a new business, two entrepreneurs believe the timing is right for their venture. Nitai Pandya and Mia Kenig-Bujnarowski recently opened American Aisle, a shop where all the merchandise is made in the United States.
Locally owned Perfect Scents is back. The perfume-bath-and-body shop built a loyal following when it opened in Westport in 1989. It operated there for 13 years before relocating to the Country Club Plaza in 2002. Owner Nancy Pell closed it four years later to concentrate on her Internet business.
